Interstate 79 binds the region from Morgantown south along the technology corridor to Fairmont, Bridgeport, Clarksburg, and Weston. Adjunct highways enhance access: Route 50 includes Doddridge and Taylor Counties while Route 33 adds Buckhannon and Elkins and on toward Canaan Valley. Interstate 68 heads east through Preston County to Maryland and the District of Columbia.
